For Nocturnal Activities, we recommend keeping yourselves closer to Parque Lleras or Provenza. You can’t help but notice the freelancers in the street although tempting look at stay away as a lot of the publicity you read online starts with them. There are 2 main areas to visit depending on your goals between Calles 33-37 you will find Provenza and Between 38 and 41 Parque lleras. Each offer excitement but with their own little twist. Provenza is more upscale and where you will find professional people out eating, drinking and enjoying the nightlife. Provenza does have it all and caters more towards the upscale side of things. It can start as early as 7 pm and go until 7 am with restaurants, Street vendors, outdoor bars, and nightclubs keeping things lively. We have listed some of the best venues to attend while in town and they are worth going to if you enjoy the upbeat atmosphere. After starting in Provenza you may look to make your way down to Parque Lleras. The change in scenary is immediate as there are police barricades blocking entrances to minors looking to enter the premises. Once you make it inside the park, the area opens up to outdoor drinking and socializing. Like Provenza, lleras also has a handful of clubs that we have listed above however they tend to cater towards a younger clientele or the heavier drinkers. Lleras should be your last stop of the night before making it back to the property rental and leaving the district after 4am isn’t advised if your inebriated. |

Day 1 | |
---|---|
Arrival time between 1-5 pm on day 1. It’s recommended to walk around Parque Lleras & Provenza between streets 33 and 41. Stop and drink in Provenza, which has some great food spots (Gato, Burdo, Park 36). At around 5 pm, more people begin to frequent the area and by 7 pm there is a decent traffic flow.
Most restaurants (Ocio, El Botanico, Relato, Dos Santos) will seat you up until 11 pm, at the latest. If you are a large group 6+ you will need to make a reservation prior, you can always register your name at the restaurant and then wait to be seated (we do not make dinner reservations for guests, sorry about that). After 11 pm nocturnal clubs start picking up steam. The best venues are Saloon Amador, La Chula, and any club located in Provenza (Vintrash, DeejaVu, and Teatro). There are also numerous bars and outdoor seating, so you can sit and plan your next move. |

Day 2 | |
Early Birds can enjoy some great breakfast spots open by 8 am (D-Andre, Al Alma, and Floretto) and have some great options to start the day. On the lighter end, you can head to Pergamino’s or Primaveras for something lighter and great coffee.
Best to get any type of touring out of the way on day 2. Recommendations are any of the following: Comuna 13, Pablo Escobar, Pueblito Pasa, ATV, and Horseback Riding or City Walking Tour. Most will start by 10 am and finish around 4 pm (or earlier if you prefer), take photos see the sights, and share memories after your return this is your chance to get it done. Upon arrival back if you’re not looking to relax at the Airbnb call in a massage or you can head to one of the great malls and see the great sights to be had (Tesoro by far leads here followed by Mall Santa Fe). If you’re into trying some of your pickup Spanish then head to Unicentro just a thought. |
